FalconViz Shines as Host and Tech Leader at SAFTA Gathering
FalconViz stole the spotlight at the Saudi AgriFood Tech Alliance (SAFTA) in-person gathering hosted at KAUST. As the host and primary technology partner of the event, FalconViz
brought together government, industry and research leaders to explore the future of Saudi agriculture.
“We’re proud to be hosting a SAFTA In-Person Gathering today inside KAUST! FalconViz is bringing together alliance members to explore our cutting-edge technologies in agriculture and
ecosystem restoration (gharsa.ai). Aligning with the efforts of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture…”

The event highlighted FalconViz’s role as an industry leader and tech innovator, with live demos and talks on its drone-based platforms.

Gharsa.ai: Revolutionizing Precision Agriculture with AI & Drones
FalconViz’s Gharsa.ai platform uses drones and AI to deliver precise farming insights across fields. Gharsa was a major feature at SAFTA, demonstrating how AI-driven drone technology
can transform farming.
“Gharsa combines cutting-edge drone technology with advanced artificial intelligence to deliver precise agricultural insights, helping farmers optimize operations, increase yield, and
promote sustainability.” (Quote)
Gharsa offers a full suite of precision-agriculture tools – from real-time change detection to automated plant counting and health monitoring – all driven by aerial data.

Change Detection
Gharsa tracks changes in crop cover over time to spot growth trends or issues like overgrazing and deforestation.
Plant Counting
Its AI algorithms automatically count and map each individual plant, giving farmers an accurate inventory of their fields.
Health Monitoring
Multispectral drone imaging in Gharsa spots plant stress, nutrient
These AI-powered analytics – combined with targeted drone operations – mean farmers can make smarter, data-driven decisions.
Gharsa’s support for Saudi Vision 2030 and the Saudi Green Initiative was emphasized, as it aligns with national goals to plant 10 billion trees, rehabilitate degraded land, and reduce
emissions.
“FalconViz has developed Gharsa to show how technology can boost productivity and sustainability, fulfilling key Vision 2030 objectives like food security and eco conservation.”

Cutting-Edge Environmental Tech: Methane Detection & Digital Twins
Beyond agriculture, FalconViz showcased groundbreaking environmental innovations at the SAFTA event. One highlight was digital twins of critical infrastructure. FalconViz engineer
Firas Saati demonstrated how their 3D twinning ecosystem creates live digital replicas of assets like water desalination plants and recycling facilities. These high-fidelity models
enable “smart monitoring” of environmental infrastructure, setting new standards for how Saudi cities manage resources in real time.
Another highlight was FalconViz’s collaboration with AIRMO on methane sensing.
Executive Andrew Maximov explained how their partnership equips drones with advanced sensors to achieve real-time methane detection. This means any methane leaks – such as from pipelines
or waste sites – can be detected on the fly by flying UAVs. These innovations position FalconViz at the forefront of environmental tech for Saudi Arabia and show FalconViz pushing the
envelope on how drones and AI can safeguard the environment.

Supporting National Goals: Vision 2030 & Saudi Green Initiative
For example, Gharsa’s AI-driven planting and monitoring helps the Kingdom reach its goal of 10 billion trees, while reducing water and chemical use.
These efforts support the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) goals as well. MEWA’s official mission is to “achieve environmental sustainability, manage natural resources, and food security” through programs and support to farmers.

FalconViz’s tools — smart irrigation via drones, crop health monitoring, and data-driven farming — are ideally suited to those aims. By showcasing these technologies, FalconViz made clear that its innovations are not just cutting-edge – they are purposeful. They directly back the Ministry’s mandate and national objectives for sustainable agriculture and water management.

Building Future Talent: FalconViz Academy
FalconViz also used the SAFTA stage to highlight its FalconViz Academy, a academic initiative to train local Saudi talent. At the event, FalconViz’s Mohammed Mashnouk explained the
company’s vital training programs. He described “crucial training and knowledge transfer initiatives at FalconViz Academy, building local capabilities in drone, geospatial, and
agriculture sectors”. In other words, FalconViz is growing the next generation of Saudi engineers and technicians for the drone economy. This dovetails with Vision 2030’s emphasis on
education and localization. By hosting workshops and collaborating with KAUST, FalconViz Academy is a catalyst for homegrown innovation, ensuring that FalconViz’s high-tech systems are
supported by a highly skilled workforce.
In summary, FalconViz dominated the SAFTA gathering with an energetic showcase of its products & services. As the event host and technological partner, FalconViz demonstrated how its
pushing Saudi Arabia’s AgriFood and environment agendas forward.
The company’s message – is clear: FalconViz is powering the future of Saudi reforestation and conservation in alignment with Vision 2030 and national sustainability goals.
